🟡 WHY I’M RUNNING

Members deserve a WSIB representative who understands the reality of the shop floor and stands up when something isn’t right.

I’m running to make sure members have someone who:

• understands how the plant works
• knows the WSIB process and timelines
• communicates clearly with members and management
• pushes back when decisions aren’t fair
• follows claims from start to finish

This role isn’t about visibility.
It’s about making sure members get results.

🟢 EXPERIENCE IN THE PLANT & WITH WSIB

I’ve worked at Ford Motor Company in Oakville since 2000 and have served as a WSIB representative supporting injured workers and advocating for fair outcomes.

My experience includes:

• helping members with claims and documentation
• supporting safe and realistic return-to-work plans
• communicating restrictions and medical updates
• mediating workplace disputes
• presenting WSIB issues at union meetings
• helping members understand their rights and next steps

🟣 UNION LEADERSHIP

I’ve been trusted by members to serve in elected and accountable roles, including:

• Women’s Committee Chair — Unifor Local 707 (9 years)
• Trustee
• WSIB Alternate Representative (6 years)

Through these roles I’ve learned how to:

• manage sensitive workplace issues
• protect member interests
• communicate clearly during disputes
• represent members fairly and professionally

Leadership means listening, staying calm under pressure, and always putting members first.

🟤 COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Giving back has always mattered to me.

I’ve volunteered through:
• United Way campaigns
• organizing community fundraisers
• supporting McMaster Children’s Hospital initiatives
• leading memorial and awareness events

Strong unions are built on service - inside and outside the plant.
